HarbourCats Victorious In Rubber Match with Honkers

Victoria, BC ~ The HarbourCats used a four hit performance from Micheal Tsoukalas to defeat the Honkers 12-7 in the rubber match of a three game exhibition series at Wilson’s Group Stadium at Royal Athletic Park on Thursday afternoon.
Myles Chamberlain, a recent Grade 12 graduate from Victoria, got the start on the mound for the Cats for his first ever appearance. The Cloud County College commit, went five stellar innings of one run baseball to put the HarbourCats out on the right foot.
It was yet another beautiful day at the park as the weather has smartened up in recent weeks to create the perfect summer baseball atmosphere. The best fans in the WCL took advantage of that on Thursday afternoon as there was a solid crowd on hand for the Cats special “Business Person Getaway Day” game.
What’s Next?
The HarbourCats will head across the border, by ocean, to take on the Port Angeles Lefties in an important three game set. With the playoffs around the corner and the ‘Cats sitting on the outside looking in, this series could be a make or break depending on the results.
