Played high school baseball at Damien High School… threw a trio of no-hitters in his prep career… named Team MVP as a junior… earned first-team all-conference honors as a junior and senior… ranked as the No. 26 right-handed pitcher in the state of California by Perfect Game.

Parents are Kami and Michael… has two sisters, Ashley and Courtney… oldest sister, Ashley, is a member of the Stanford gymnastics squad.
