We have been busy this late summer and fall, getting 2019 wrapped up and starting the building blocks for the 2020 season, our 8th in the West Coast League! Here is a quick update.

Hello Fans!

The Victoria HarbourCats Baseball Club are coming off one of their most successful seasons to date, setting a number of new offensive records, winning the North Division Title and coming one game short of winning their first ever West Coast League Championship.  The team also once again led the league in attendance, seeing close to 80,000 people come through the gates of Wilson’s Group Stadium at Royal Athletic Park.

As both current and former ticket buyers to our games, we would love to see you back at the park in 2020 and wanted to keep you up to date on what we are doing this fall to get ready for the 2020 Season and to invite you, if you have not done so already, to become a Season Ticket Member or consider a Corporate Partenrship with us for the 2020 season.

2020 SEASON TICKETS NOW ON SALE
If you would like to be part of the exciting 2020 HarbourCats season, consider a season ticket membership.  27 league games plus all exhibition and non-league games (that amounted to 33 games in 2019) can be yours at a substantial savings over walk-up prices.  And book by October 1, 2019 to lock in 2019 pricing (for renewals) and receive 2020 playoff tickets for free (again in 2019 that amounted to three games worth of free baseball). Season ticket holders also receive other perks like 10% off coupons for merchandise, extra “bring a friend” ticket vouchers, and other food and beverage promotional items as part of their package.

Seats are currently available in all sections in 2020, including the NEW Right Field Reserved area, which is the reserved seating area of Section 6 down the first baseline.

Premium Reserved (Sections  7-9 and 11-12) – $450

2020 SCHEDULE
The league is busy plugging away on our 2020 schedule and word is it will be released in mid-October.  We do know, as usual, that we will begin play in late May 2020 and continue through to mid-August, with 27 league games and a number of non-league exhibition games included in the mix.  And of course, we fully intend to be back in the WCL playoffs come the end of the season!

10-GAME FLEX PACKS
We will be expanding our popular 10-game flex pack offerings so that fans can purchase flex-pack tickets specifically for the sections they like to sit in for games. Stay tuned for details on this!

NEW FOR 2020! THE RIGHT FIELD RESERVED SECTION
We are REDUCING the price of premium reserved tickets in one of our sections to give fans the opportunity to secure a reserved seat for $17 per ticket instead of the $19 that has been in place for a number of years now and for just a few dollars more than a general admission ticket.  This price change applies to Section 6 down the first base line, a section we now call RIGHT FIELD RESERVED.  Season tickets will also be available in this section.  More details to be announced soon!

The ‘Cats will look to repeat as North Division Champions again in 2020 and get back to the WCL Championship series.

INDIVIDUAL GAME TICKETS
Once our 2020 schedule is known, we will announce a date for single-game tickets to go on sale.  Commonly we do this just before Christmas so that fans can treat their friends and family to the gift of HarbourCats baseball for the Holiday season!

2020 RECRUITING

Head Coach Todd Haney, Assistant Coach Curtis Pelletier and GM and Managing Partner Jim Swanson have already been hard at it this late summer and early fall, recruiting our team for 2020.  No official announcements yet (perhaps later this week!), but look for a number of names from 2019 to return, supplemented by a quality group of NCAA and Canadian college athletes to round out the mix.

Coach Todd Haney is already working hard at putting together his roster for the 2020 season.

OFFICE HOURS
