The HarbourCats started with a bang, scoring 10 runs through the first three innings as opposed to the Angels one. Victoria scored twice in the first, five in the second and then three more in the third. The five run second was capped off by a Jesse Brown two run home run which went three quarters of the way up the netting out in left center field making for an absolute moonshot.

Coquitlam would answer with four in the fourth to make it 10-5 before a five run inning in the top of the sixth to tie the game up. Victoria answered with three of their own in the 6th before the Angels also pushed across three in the top of the 7th to tie things at 13. The definition of back and forth.

The HarbourCats finally put the nail in the coffin in the bottom of the eighth, putting four runs up on the board to go up by four and finally put an end to the Saturday night madness. That four run inning in the eighth was highlighted by a two run single off the bat of Jesse Brown who even though this  an exhibition series, he is establishing himself as a very strong bat in this talented HarbourCat lineup in his first two days in Canada.

Tonight was another game in which the everyday HarbourCat players got the chance to sit out while some other personnel got a chance to get some reps in. It was nice to see some non-starters be able to get some much needed hits for their confidence and to show off their prowess in front of a solid Saturday evening.
