The ‘CatCast: Episode 7 with Chase Wehsener

Chase Wehsener has been a stud at the plate in 2019 for the HarbourCats, leading the team in RBI with 22 and amassing a .346 average through 22 games this summer. The Baylor Bear also established himself as a fan favourite with a memorable Canada Day walk off  pinch-hit against the Kelowna Falcons earlier this month. In the seventh episode of the ‘CatCast, Mike Edwards and Josh Kozelj welcome Chase Wehsener to the show. From hitting a pinch-hit walk off double on Canada Day, to establishing himself as a force in the middle of the HarbourCat order, Wehsener discusses what has clicked for him at the dish this year and some of the team’s memorable moments so far.

We also talk about Wehsener’s decision to choose Baylor, a perennial NCAA powerhouse, for school and what it was like to play for a talented Bears team last year.

The ‘CatCast will be back every week this season featuring in-depth interviews with players and coaches to bring you closer to the 2019 HarbourCats and offer an inside look at what goes on around the team beyond the nine innings.
