AS A FRESHMAN (2018):

• Joined the Bears for the 2018 season and appeared in seven games (one start) as an outfielder and pinch-hitter.
• Collected two hits in five at-bats with three runs, one RBI and three walks.
• First collegiate hit came Feb. 24 with an RBI double against Cal St. Bakersfield.
• Also had a hit at San Francisco.

HIGH SCHOOL/PERSONAL:

• Native of Irvine, Calif. attended Northwood High School as a junior and senior. Also attended Mater Dei High School for two years.
• Hit .345 with two home runs as a senior in 2017. was named first team All-Pacific Coast League and was selected to compete in the Orange County All-Star Game.
• Ohter high school accolades include 2017 Rawlings-Perfect Game All-America honorable mention, 2017 California All-Region second team, 2016 and 2015 Underclass high honorable mention, 2016 All-Pacific Coast League honorable mention. 2015 All-Trinity League honorable mention.
• Academic honors include Principal’s Honor Roll, Scholar-Athlete of the Year and Pride of the Pack.
• Played summer ball for the Victoria Harbourcats in 2017.
• Hobbies include playing the ukulele, skiing, photography and going to the beach.
• Plans to pursue a Business track at Cal.
• Parents are Joan and Abel Cachola. Has one sibling, Kyle.
