2018 (Freshman): Thimjon appeared in 35 games as a freshman making 19 starts with 16 coming in right field, two in center and one in right… hit .244 from the dish with 21 hits… tallied nine extra-base hits with three doubles, two triples and four home runs… scored 13 runs on the season, tied for eighth on the team… drove in 20 RBIs which tied for seventh on the team and tied for second-most among freshman… recorded a .302 on-base percentage & a .465 slugging percentage… stole two bases and added two sacrifice flies and one sacrifice hit… posted a .974 fielding percentage with 38 putouts and one error defensively… totaled three multi-hit games with a season-best three against Nevada (March 25)… scored a season-high two runs at Nevada (May 6)… also drove in a season-high six RBIs against the Wolf Pack (May 6) smacking a grand slam along with a sacrifice fly and an RBI triple… hit his first career home run against CSUN (April 24).

High School: Thimjon earned 2017 All-Northern California Second-Team honors… hit .390 from the plate with 12 extra-base hits, six doubles, three triples and three home runs adding 24 RBIs and 26 runs scored as a senior… helped lead Franklin HS to a 18-9-1 overall mark and a second-place tie in the Delta League in 2017… was a 2016 Oakland A’s Area Code Team member… 2016 First-Team All-Delta League.selection… 2016 Franklin HS Offensive MVP…  2016 Sacramento Bee Honorable Mention… 2016 Franklin HS Scholar-Athlete… 2015 Franklin HS Defensive MVP…. Student-Athlete honor roll member.

Personal: Son of Meghan and Michael Thimjon… has two older siblings, Tyler and Emily… choose Fresno State for its baseball program… most admires his parents for the opportunities they have given him… favorite athlete is Mookie Betts because of his strong work ethic… enjoys fishing, lifting weights and hanging out with friends and family in his free time.
