2018 (Freshman): Nogales started 36 games as a freshman making 15 starts on the season, 14 at first base and one at designated hitter… hit .341 from the plate… tallied 29 hits on the season, 10th-most on the team… smacked six doubles, ninth on the club and added two triples and one home run… scored 13 runs and drove in 14 RBIs… finished with a .440 on-base percentage and a .494 slugging percentage… drew 15 walks… collected seven multi-hit games and four multi-run & RBI contests… had a season-high three hits twice against Nevada (March 25) & UNLV (May 19)… scored three runs against the Wolf Pack on March 25 in a 18-12 loss to the Wolf Pack… drove in a season-best two RBIs in three of the final eight games of the season… Academic All-Mountain West selection.

High School: Nogales was ranked in the Perfect Game Top 200 players in California 2017 class as the 12th-best first baseman in the class… selected as a team captain at Saint Francis High School as a senior in 2017 earning honorable mention all-league honors…  was named a West Catholic First-Team All-League selection in 2016… selected an Honorable Mention All-CCS in 2016… led Saint Francis to the Open Division Championship in 2016… played in the North-South All-Star Game in 2016… helped lead the Lancers to the CCS Open Division, Boras Classic & WCAL Championships in 2015… hit .313 from the plate as a senior and junior while slugging .323 as a sophomore and combined to drive in 32 RBIs in his career

Personal: Son of Kim and Victor Nogales… has two sisters, Bella and Olivia… choose Fresno State because he really liked the atmosphere and felt at home when he visited… criminal justice major at Fresno State… most admires his parents because they are selfless and always pushing him to do his best and are very supportive… favorite athlete is Bryce Harper because he plays with a lot of passion and plays each game as if it is his last game and is fun to watch… favorite athletic thrill is winning back-to-back conference championships as a sophomore and junior… enjoys fishing, hiking and hanging out with his friends in his free time… born Oct. 29, 1998.
