2024: Road a strong finish to hit .263 in nine games (5 starts) in his first season with the Owls… Last start at home was a memorable one, collecting a career-high three hits, including his first career double and home run vs. Texas Southern on 5/14… Singled and scored a run in his lone appearance at the AAC Championship, taking over for an injured Manny Garza… Singled at Hawaii on 3/10 for his first career hit…  Reached base for the first time in his career with a walk as a defensive replacement vs. Stanford and came around to score his first career run… Made his Rice debut with a start in the series finale at Louisiana. finale at Louisiana.

Prior to Rice:   Transfer from Chandler-Gilbert CC in Chandler, Arizona where he helped lead the Coyotes to the NJCAA Region 1 championship series … Hit .383 with four home runs and 19 RBI for Palo Verde HS in Las Vegas, sparking the Panthers to the 2022 Class 5A Desert League title while earning All-State honors …  Older brother Austin played football at Southern Utah.
