Port Angeles Opening Day excursion

VICTORIA, B.C. – The Victoria HarbourCats have partnered with Black Ball Ferry Line to provide Victoria baseball fans an opportunity to ‘get off the rock’ and follow the HarbourCats to Opening Day in Port Angeles, WA.

Black Ball, which operates the Coho Ferry, is providing travel packages for fans to travel from Victoria to Port Angeles, WA on Thursday, June 1 to watch the HarbourCats open the 2017 West Coast League season against the Port Angeles Lefties.

It will be the inaugural game in Lefties franchise history and mark the beginning of a rivalry between two of the closest markets in the WCL, separated by just a 90-minute ride on the Coho.

Fans will depart Victoria for Port Angeles on the Coho Ferry sailing of their choice on June 1. The 10:30am sailing arrives at 12:00pm, which would give travellers the afternoon to explore Port Angeles before the game. Underground Heritage Tours take place in Port Angeles from 2:00 until 4:00pm.

Prices start at $99 USD based on double occupancy.

Fans will stay the night of June 1 at the Red Lion Hotel in downtown Port Angeles. A complimentary shuttle will be provided to drive fans from the Red Lion to Civic Field where the HarbourCats and Lefties first pitch will be thrown at 6:35pm. The shuttle will provide transportation from Civic Field back to the hotel after the game.

Add a Craft Beer Tasting to your getaway and receive three pints of beer for just $5.

Fans will travel home from Port Angeles back to Victoria on the Coho Ferry on Friday, June 2.

The complete package includes:

  • Coho Ferry walk-on tickets, round trip

Throughout the month of August, a purchase of a 2017 HarbourCats 10-pack comes with a 2-for-1 Mount Washington ski bus pass, to be used in 2017.

A HarbourCats 10-pack includes 10 undated vouchers to be redeemed for game tickets during the 2017 regular season in any combination.

2017 SEATTLE VACATION

The HarbourCats are staging their second consecutive fan vacation to Seattle in 2017 to see the Blue Jays take on the Mariners.

The 2017 vacation takes place June 9-11, 2017 and will include:

  • Travel on Wilson’s Transportation buses from to and from Victoria and Seattle. Ferry cost also included.
  • Field level tickets for all three Blue Jays @ Mariners games at Safeco Field.
  • Two nights at the Hilton Embassy Lynnwood.

Total cost is $798 per person (based on double occupancy). Different rates available for triple as well as single occupancy.

Registration for HarbourCats season ticket holders is $725 (based on double occupancy). The trip is not expected to interfere with the HarbourCats home schedule, as the team is expected to be on the road during this time.
