MLB Play Ball Free Youth Camp Comes to Victoria

Register Now for May 25th camp at Wilson’s Group Stadium!

VICTORIA, B.C. — A free youth baseball camp, with Major League Baseball — what could be better than that?

Presented locally by Peninsula Co-op and Black Press Media, the Victoria HarbourCats are proud to be the local organizer of the PLAY BALL camp set for Saturday, May 25, at Wilson’s Group Stadium at Royal Athletic Park. The camp, intended for kids aged 5-13, is part of the series presented across the continent by Major League Baseball, and supported in our country by Baseball Canada.

As well, Baseball BC has played a major role in having this camp arrive in Victoria.

The camp runs from 9am to 11am, with registration starting that day at 8:15am.

“This is a camp that is open to all players in that age group, regardless of experience,” said Curtis Pelletier, Director of Player Development with the Victoria HarbourCats. “MLB does a tremendous job of rolling these camps out across North America, and it’s a real bonus for us to have been able to get this to land in Victoria for the first time.”

To take part, players must be registered through this website — https://www.playball.org/events

Each player will receive a free t-shirt, wristband and bat/ball set.
