First Responders and Military deserve the best from us all, and this is our best offer

VICTORIA — If nothing else, no matter which side you may be on, the Don Cherry controversy of the past week should have taught us all one thing — we live in a free country, and that is thanks in large part to those who went before us and fought battles few of us can comprehend. Many gave their lives, the ultimate sacrifice.

If you’ve been to a HarbourCats game, you know what we think of our military and first responders — we pause to say thank you, each and every game. And, in this month of remembrance, we again reach out to those who serve our nation.

The Wilson’s Group of Companies, every game, salutes a Canadian military member — past, present, even future with cadets — during one of the early inning breaks. And all our popular Friday games are sponsored by Galaxy Motors on FORCES FRIDAYS at Wilson’s Group Stadium at RAP, with drastically reduced tickets for military and first responders (and their families), this year scheduled for (June 5, June 19, July 10, July 17 and July 24).

In November, presented by Galaxy Motors and The Wilson’s Group, we combine to offer TWO-FOR-ONE SEASON TICKETS for the following groups:

• Military, current and veteran
• First Responders, be it police, fire, ambulance/paramedic, and support

This opportunity ends on Friday, November 29, one day after our annual full-day Christmas Celebration Sale.
