2018 (Freshman): Played in 36 games and started in 33… recorded 12 runs, 27 hits, one double, one home run and 17 RBI… had 17 walks and an on-base percentage of .346.

High School: Second team All-District (Catcher, 2017) and had an appearance in the State Tournament (2017).

Personal: Pettit is studying Mechanical Engineering, and is the son of Doug and Traci. His father played baseball at the University of Texas and pro ball in the Marlins organization. Pettit was born March 17, 1999.
