2022 (Junior): Selected to the SLC All-Conference Second Team. Gonzalez ended regular season with a 17-game hit streak to go along with a 12-game hit streak earlier in the season. He led the Cardinals in hits (70), doubles (13) and RBIs (37). He started and played in all 52 games for the Cardinals, recording a hit in 45 games. Gonzalez is first in triples (4) with a season-high three hits against SLU and three RBIs against HBU.

Previous: He also attended Galveston College briefly where he averaged .316 his freshman year…later he transferred to Cisco College where he made 2^nd team all-conference in 2021 averaging .388, 4 RBI, .466 OBP. He left Cisco with an AA in Kinesiology.

High School: Attended Obra D. Tompkins High School where he was awarded 1^st team all-district, and 2^ndteam all-state in 2018…with an average of .434 in districts.
