2020 HarbourCats season schedule released

Open at home, four fireworks dates, Father’s Day, and a visit from the Seattle Studs among 30-plus games!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

November 1, 2019

VICTORIA, B.C. — Planning for the eighth season of Victoria HarbourCats baseball in the West Coast League is about to hit the fast lane, with today’s highly-anticipated release of the WCL schedule.

Opening the regular season at home on a Friday, four fireworks dates, including celebrations of the Canada Day and BC Day holidays, the super-popular annual School Spirit Game, and Father’s Day at home are some of the prime-time features of the summer of 2020 at Wilson’s Group Stadium at Royal Athletic Park.

Games added to the mix will include the first-ever visit from the Seattle Studs of the Pacific International League, and additional games to be announced so fans can enjoy at least 31 home dates in 2020.

“Getting the schedule in place is exciting for us all, because we know the fans and our partners can get plans moving for some of our popular dates, along with new ideas on the way,” said Christian Stewart, Assistant GM and Ticketing Manager. “Our ticketing work can roll now, with solid dates, and we will see people already staking their claim to certain seats for certain games, even this far in advance. That’s fun for us to see.”

Watch all HarbourCats social media and web platforms for the release of single game tickets, which could be within the next week or two. Additional ticketing news the team is excited about is also in the works. Gift cards, applicable for tickets or merchandise redemption, are available through the team office at 101-1814 Vancouver Street, open Tuesday-Friday, 10am-5:30pm.
