RBC Hits a Grand Slam With HarbourCats

The Victoria HarbourCats are pleased to announce that RBC has joined the HarbourCats as a GRAND SLAM PARTNER for the 2016 season and beyond.

This partnership with RBC providing includes premium RBC signage at the park in multiple locations, video commercials during regular season and playoff home games, and special game-day sponsorship of the Sunday, July 10 game at Royal Athletic Park between the HarbourCats and visiting Bend Elks, the defending West Coast League champions.

The Sunday, July 10 game will see gates open at noon, and first pitch at 1pm.

“We are pleased to be working with RBC, a leader in the Canadian banking industry, as part of the HarbourCats support team, and we thank them for lending their brand to our family entertainment package,” said Jim Swanson, Managing Partner of the HarbourCats. “RBC puts community first, and this is another example of that.”

RBC’s signage can be seen on RAP’s signature scoreboard, and on the outfield fence. The distinctive RBC logo will also be flashed up on the video board at times during the game.

CANADA DAY HOMESTAND

The HarbourCats begin a three-game series in Wenatchee on Monday before returning home to face the Kelowna Falcons on Thursday through Saturday at Royal Athletic Park.

The Canada Day Eve fireworks display presented by Save-On Foods will follow the 6:35pm game on Thursday as the HarbourCats celebrate Canada Day one day early. Tickets are going fast and fans are advised to secure their seats in advance by contacting the team office (1814 Vancouver St. / 778-265-0327) or buying online at www.harbourcats.com/tickets.

The HarbourCats and Falcons play a Canada Day doubleheader at RAP with first pitch being thrown at 1:00pm. The HarbourCats will bat first as the road team in the second game of this single-admission doubleheader. An after-event is being hosted at Yates Street Taphouse.

The all-Canadian series wraps up on Saturday, July 2 at 6:35pm and fans are encouraged to bring socks to throw during the sock toss for Anawim House after the HarbourCats score their first run of the game.

The HarbourCats have released three pitchers following their game on Sunday. They include:

LHP Nick Wojtysiak (Paradise Valley CC)

RHP Josh Walker (Orange Coast College)

LHP Creed Smith (Chico HS)

OFFICE HOURS

Assistant GM Brittany French is in the office and ready to assist fans with all ticket purchasing and can take care of any other requests and questions fans may have.

The team office at 1814 Vancouver Street (across from RAP) will be open 9:00am-12:00pm on Monday, June 27. Normal office hours will resume on Tuesday, June 28.

Normal in-season hours are as follows:

MONDAY-FRIDAY – 9:00am-5:00pm

SATURDAY – 10:00am-2:00pm

SUNDAY – Closed (Except by appointment)
