HarbourCats home games televised LIVE on SHAW

Community channel to have 16 games for 2019 season, produced by GO LIVE BROADCASTING

VICTORIA, B.C. — It’s time for the Victoria HarbourCats to GO LIVE again, with SHAW.

The HarbourCats, entering their seventh season in the West Coast League, are pleased to announce a partnership with SHAW and GO LIVE BROADCASTING to have 16 of the team’s home games shown live this summer, beginning with the final game of the International Series, presented by FUEL Supplements and the Greater Victoria Sports Tourism Commission with the HarbourCats facing Union de Reyes from Cuba, a 6:35pm game at Wilson’s Group Stadium at RAP.

“This is a tremendous step forward in having people be able to enjoy HarbourCats baseball,” said Jim Swanson, Managing Partner/GM. “If they can’t get to the game, on those 16 nights they’ll be able to see the game live, with the broadcast team of Mike Edwards, Steve Duffy, Shane Mills and Kira Haney. It’s professionally produced by Chris Jaycox and GO LIVE, and it’s among the top quality broadcasts below the Major League level.”

  • Wednesday, June 19 — 11am (Mayfair Optometric School Spirit Game), vs. Bend Elks
  • Tuesday, June 25 — 6:30pm, vs. Wenatchee AppleSox
  • Thursday, June 27 — 6:30pm, vs. Wenatchee AppleSox
  • Monday, July 1 — 1pm, vs. Kelowna Falcons (also broadcast in Okanagan region)
  • Wednesday, July 3 — 6:30pm, vs. Seattle City
  • Sunday, July 7 — 1pm, vs. Bellingham Bells
  • Monday, July 8 — 6:30pm vs. Ridgefield Raptors
  • Tuesday, July 9 — 6:30pm vs. Ridgefield Raptors
  • Wednesday, July 10 — 6:30pm vs. Ridgefield Raptors
  • Sunday, July 21 — 1pm, vs. Yakima Valley Pippins
  • Sunday, July 28 — 1pm, vs. Burnaby Bulldogs
  • Tuesday, July 30 — 6:30pm, vs. Cowlitz Black Bears
  • Thursday, August 1 — 1pm, vs. Cowlitz Black Bears
  • Sunday, August 11 — 1pm, vs. Port Angeles Lefties

All 33 HarbourCats home games will also be  streamed live through GO LIVE on a pay-per-view service, with the following rates:

  • SINGLE-GAME PASS — $6.99 (USD)

Our pre-season office hours at 1814 Vancouver Street are now 9:30 am to 5:30 pm Monday through Friday and 10:00 am to 4:00 pm Saturday. We are closed (or by appointment only) on  Sunday.
