HarbourCats, Wilson’s, Flight Centre staging Mariners vacation

PRESS RELEASE

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – May 11, 2016

Victoria, B.C- The Victoria HarbourCats, Wilson’s Transportation and Flight Centre have combined to offer fans an exciting opportunity to travel to Seattle to watch the Toronto Blue Jays and Seattle Mariners series at Safeco Field on September 19-21, while spending two nights at Tulalip Resort and Casino.

Cost of the trip package is $689 per person based on double occupancy, and includes:

  • Bus transportation from Victoria (departing Royal Athletic Park) to Tulalip Resort and Casino on Monday, September 19.
  • Third-baseline tickets to all three games between the Blue Jays and Mariners.
  • Transportation to and from Safeco Field each day
  • Two nights accommodation at Tulalip Resort and Casino (outstanding outlet mall shopping)
  • Return transportation to Victoria (arriving at Royal Athletic Park) following the September 21 game, a 12:40 first pitch.

The trip is another unique opportunity put on by the HarbourCats just months after the club took dozens of Victoria-based fans to Arizona for a week of spring training in Phoenix, AZ where they were hosted by former major league player, Victoria native Steve Sinclair.

This is a great opportunity for fans of Canada’s lone major league club to see their team in person while enjoying the company of other loyal HarbourCats fans and members of the HarbourCats ownership and front office.  All at a time when the Blue Jays are likely to be in the midst of an exciting pennant race.

Space is limited for the Seattle trip, and those interested are encouraged to register quickly.  Contact Carey Shelby at Flight Centre (250-727-3159 or carey.shelby@flightcentre.ca) or Brittany French, Assistant GM of the HarbourCats, at 778-265-0327 or brittany@harbourcats.com to register or for more information.

SEASON TICKETS STILL AVAILABLE

HarbourCats season tickets are continuing to sell quickly and sales of 10-packs and single-game tickets are progressing at a brisk rate.  Fans are encouraged to secure your seats as soon as possible as selection continues to become increasingly limited as the season approaches.
