2017 Season Tickets now on sale

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – August 5, 2016

VICTORIA, BC – With one final series remaining at Royal Athletic Park this Friday to Sunday before the Victoria HarbourCats first-ever playoff appearance next week, the West Coast League club already has an eye on next season as 2017 season tickets are now on sale.

The HarbourCats play a 54-game West Coast League schedule, with all 27 home games taking place at Royal Athletic Park in Victoria. The WCL is widely regarded as one of the premier summer-collegiate baseball leagues in North America and one of the top summer entertainment attractions in Victoria.

Now a fixture in the WCL, the HarbourCats have enjoyed their most prosperous year yet in 2016, setting a new team wins record four the fourth straight year, reaching the playoffs for the first time, and the club is poised to surpass 50,000 in total attendance, setting a new franchise and league record.

2016 season ticket holders have until Wednesday, August 31 to renew their seats for next season. After that point, seats that are not renewed will be made available for purchase.

Season ticket options and pricing—

DIAMOND CLUB SEATS (Known as Field Level Box Seats in 2016)

$550 base price, plus fees and taxes

A new addition prior to the 2016 season, Diamond Club Seats offer a one-of-a-kind baseball experience. Seated at field level, you are closer to home plate than the pitcher and won’t have to miss a pitch of the action with food and beverage service to your seat.

New in 2017, the third base side of the Diamond Club will be available for season tickets.

MAIN GRANDSTAND (Section 10, covered)

$395 base price, plus fees and taxes.

Enjoy the cover of the roof and bench-backed seating, sitting directly behind home plate for some of the best views of the action.

PREMIUM SEATING (Sections 6-7-8-9-11-12, blue bucket seats)

$375 base price, plus fees and taxes.

Individual bucket seating down each baseline on the infield, provides outstanding sightlines with every seat bringing you close to the action.

GENERAL ADMISSION (Silver bleachers, picnic areas, wheelchair seating, soccer grandstand)

$275 base price, plus fees and taxes.

General admission gives an abundance of options for seating including silver bleachers just above the premium seating, picnic table areas down the first base and third base lines, wheelchair seating above the premium seating, as well as the soccer grandstand on the right field line. Explore the ballpark, sit somewhere new every game!

FINAL HOMESTAND PROMOTIONS

The HarbourCats host the Yakima Valley Pippins this Friday to Sunday at Royal Athletic Park in the team’s final regular season homestand.

In addition to a series against the WCL’s south division second half leaders, this weekend will feature an exciting lineup of promotions as the HarbourCats celebrate a memorable 2016 regular season.

Jerseys Off Our Backs with Odlum Brown

HarbourCats players will be wearing their popular red jerseys and will give the jerseys off their backs following the game. Fans will receive an entry form upon entering Royal Athletic Park to fill out and return to the ballpark info booth. Draws will be made following the game and players will hand jerseys over to winners on the field.

Additional entry forms will be given for purchase of a game day program, HarbourCats merchandise and HarbourCats Ale.

Fan Appreciation FIREWORKS presented by Wallace Driving School

This is the HarbourCats third and final fireworks night of 2016. Following the baseball game, enjoy a spectacular 17-minute fireworks display set up in center field at RAP. Fireworks nights are always among the most popular games of the season and seats for this game are selling quickly.

Used.ca Game Day and Fan Appreciation Day with Maple Leaf Foods

A free hot dog will be available to every child in attendance on Used.ca Game Day and Fan Appreciation Day at Royal Athletic Park as the HarbourCats say ‘thank you’ to the best fans in the West Coast League.

A hot dog eating contest will take place at the game on Sunday. Those wishing to enter are asked to email brad@harbourcats.com
